SEATTLE WEATHER

In a city like Seattle, one is bound to find something of interest to pass the time, but when you’re a tourist everything is new and exciting. Whether you’ve been to Seattle before or this is your first trip, make an itinerary to see all the adventurous things that the city has to offer. And to move around with more liberty, the most convenient and best choice is to look for affordable rentals for hire that would be preferable to the local mode of transit.

HISTORY

The largest city in the state of Washington, Seattle was named after the leader of the Puget Sound area tribes. It was founded by the Denny Party who arrived in 1851 and established a settlement in the area. Originally called Duwamps, the name was changed to Seattle and the town was made official in 1853. The Great Seattle Fire of 1889 was a great tragedy to the city and its economy and halted the progress and development. The Klondike Gold rush proved to be a great booming period for the city.

NAVIGATING THE CITY

Some of the more unconventional things to do in city are gazing at the awe-inspiring sunrise from the Smith Tower that accords a beautiful view of downtown Seattle as well as scintillating those taste buds by munching on the some delectable snacks at the Unicorn Bar and then for a little down time, find your way to the first and finest coffee house in Seattle, the Café Allegro. For a first-timer, it is a must to check out the view from the iconic Space Needle, which takes you up to the skyline to deliver a memorable experience. For those musically inclined, the Museum of Pop Culture offers great history and also allows you to have a jamming session in their sound lab. The seafront city also allows ferry rides from the waterfront and exhibits the marine life native to the area in the Seattle Museum. Seaplanes from Lake Union are another exciting activity one can partake in.
